Recently on his blog Scott Stratten, President of Un-Marketing, wrote about the 7 Deadly Sins of Twitter.
Today on BTalk we talk more about the ways that some Twitter users are breaking these rules. We’ll take you through the seven (I must admit I break a few):
- Envy
- Sloth
- Gluttony
- Wrath/anger
- Pride
- Lust
- Greed
It’s a fun conversation that serves as a useful set of guidelines for those starting out on Twitter, and it might bring some home truths to those who use it regularly. I can’t help feeling that Pope St Gregory the Great, who edited the final list back in the 500s, would be disappointed today if he opened a Twitter account.
One final thought, how can someone called Gregory the Great tell us not to be too proud?
