Pygg is described by its founder as the social way to pay your friends. Peter Crowe explains in this week’s Start IT Up how the application is designed around simplicity. The idea is that it’s easy to pay back someone who’s bought lunch or lent you a few dollars for a train fare. You simply Pygg it!
The concept makes sense, but will it catch on? It needs a large community of users to really work. But if it gets a big enough community behind it, then it could change the way we use our cash. And you’ll never again have to argue about who bought the last round of drinks.
Will it work? Could it gain enough traction to become a viable business?
