Were London’s cycle lanes ill-judged and rushed through?

Mike Brown, the commissioner of Transport for London, has felt the need to apologise for London’s cycling lanes, saying they were ill-judged and rushed through. I spoke to Fran Graham, a campaign coordinator for the London Cycling Campaign, about the implementation of London’s cycleways. She says they weren’t rushed through, but there could have been more consultation. And the message needs to be put out, that if you need to drive in London then more people on bikes will make your job easier, not worse.
