The Super Blood Wolf Moon in many parts of the world, has been followed by a blue day on the global markets. As NAB’s Gavin Friend discusses with Phil Dobbie, its just another sign of the growing concern about the world’s economy, not helped by some weaker US data and, perhaps, the realisation that a US China trade truce continues to look unlikely anytime soon. But the pound did well overnight, as UK politicians manoeuvre to try and avoid a hard Brexit. And there are plenty of earnings reports over the next 24 hours to inject some life into the equity markets – or not.
