It’s a sea of red for shares this morning. Phil Dobbie asks NAB’s Davd de Garis how much of this is down Larry Kudlow’s comment that there’s a “pretty sizeable distance to go” before trade issues are resolved with China. It seems the clock is ticking with no immediate resolution for that, the pending government shutdown and Brexit. Meanwhile, the European Commission and the Bank of England have downgraded growth forecasts and the Kiwi dollar has been hit by an unexpected unemployment upturn. Feeling a bit gloomy after all that – think of the weekend!
