Near half century low for US jobless claims

The US dollar was helped overnight with surprisingly low jobless claims numbers in the US. NAB’s’S Gavin Friend says it points to a tightening labour market, which should, theoretically, keep the upward pressure on wages. Yet, we also saw production prices fall overnight.
