I was invited on top TalkRADIO again to talk about the potential US-UK trade deal with Bob Mills, but we ended up talking more about why we got ourselves into the Brexit mess in the first place. There was so much more I wanted to cover – like the new cabinet, a mix of privilege and inexperience. But maybe I need to do a Balls Radio episode to cover that! Bob is right in his point that so much of where we are now hinged on that fateful meeting between Cameron and Juncker. Both came out assuming the vote would go their way. If only they had taken the threat seriously.
