January 2007 - November 2007 Chief Marketing Officer, Engin Full marketing mix accountaility for Australia's largest broadband phone company - an ASX listed business, now majority owned by Channel Seven. In a short space of time I: - established new brand, agency and marketing team - drove sales from 50k to 80k+, maintaining ARPU - redeveloped retail, reseller and wholesaler websites. The new optimised retail site (engin.com.au) ranks highest in its search category, has stronger usage metrics (longer stay, greater depth of visit) and a far higher sales/visit conversion ratio - managed press and investor relations for launch of TiVo and a high level of corporate, strategy and M&A activity - developed triple-play product strategy, specified broadband pricing and requirements, and negotiated contracts with network and hardware providers

Managing sales and marketing team of 22, driving research, pricing, forecasting, marketing communications, telesales and channels: - delivered 400% increase in broadband sales through pricing and campaign initiatives - improved ARPU performance through pricing initiatives - reduced dial customer churn through upsells, plan improvements, comms and process changes - drove a more efficient channel mix, including rationalising expensive or slow performing channels, improved incentives for inbound team related to product value and increased online sign-ups through changes to website useability and search optimisation - greater cohesion in OzEmail brand positioning through advertising, public relations and via all customer touch points - specifying pricing and business requirements for wireless broadband product (iBurst) then orchestrating launch campaign - participated in investor presentations and development of associated collateral for the sale of OzEmail to iiNet for $110m

I was part of the team developing the business case to attract investor funding for a next-gen IP network - wrote the IM that attracted $250m in funding/vendor finance - wrote business requirements and launched initial wholesale and corporate products - recruited and managed product marketing team, with product management for data, voice and hosting services - provide the presales support to win COMindico's first customers - COMindico is now part of Soul Communications

Partner in a full-service advertising agency. Clients included: - Forte and Le Meridien Hotels - launched Noumea and Port Vila resorts - British Tourist Authority and Irish Tourist Board - joint advertising campaigns with British Airways and Cathay Pacific - SAS (Airlines) - Traveland - operated a fax-on-demand service for Traveland and various tourist offices Helped to double company turnover to more than $3million providing campaign planning, design and analysis skills. My focus was on developing integrated direct-response campaigns.
